JAZLYN EDMUNDS AWARDED OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP
VSU STUDENT, 2022 MOTON FELLOW
“Before I arrived at The Gloucester Institute, I was doubtful, excuse-driven and even hesitant about attending. Nevertheless, my thoughts changed the moment I stepped onto the property. It felt like home and I was inspired. Not only did I step out of my comfort zone when participating in The Moton Fellowship program, but I also created relationships I will cherish for a lifetime. I learned about the importance of leadership, networking, and team collaboration. As my graduation at Virginia State University quickly approaches, The Gloucester Institute training revealed that fear fuels my excuses; therefore, I must unleash the potential to lead and inspire others to lead.”
