Kay and Charles James had the vision to prepare and empower a generation of future leaders with the intangible tools needed for success. They also sought to restore and preserve a historic civil rights landmark which was in a dire state of disrepair.

Since that moment, and over the past decade thousands of student leaders have received first-rate training in the Emerging Leaders and Moton Fellowship Programs and First Saturday Groups. A countless number of other students and professionals have benefited from Sunday Dinners and the Moton Lecture Series.
